TEACHING

Our Sunday School and Family Night programs consist of Adult, Youth and Children’s instructional programs. We meet at 9:00am each Sunday Morning for Sunday School and Every Wednesday evening at 7pm for Family Night. One Wednesday a month we hold a fellowship night at our pavilion during the warmer months, weather permitting.

Our Vision

All of our teaching ministries hold the same vision as our church, "A community centered on complete love and devotion for Jesus Christ with a focus on changing lives through Him.”

The word of God says in 1 Peter 2:9-10; "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy."

In these verses, we see that the church is to be a living encounter of God’s glory, a people enraptured by that glory, proclaiming His “praises” to others, and dedicated to living corporately as "the people of God," that is, "His own special people.” The teaching ministry of the Winchester Grace Church seeks to fulfill the vision of 1 Peter 2:9-10 and move the church more and more toward becoming a living display of the God’s glory.

To achieve this, we are:

  • Committed to the inerrancy of God’s Word.

  • We have faith in the Word of God for profitability and power to save, instruct, and thoroughly equip the church.

  • We are commitment to faithfully teaching the whole counsel of God without compromise, the whole bible and nothing but the bible!

Our Mission

Our adult teaching ministry’s mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ and teaching them to observe all things that He has commanded. We seek to draw individuals into a relationship with the Lord and challenge them to grow as believers through life-changing Bible studies presented by leaders who are Christ-centered, bible centered, and people oriented. We encourage personal relationships and fellowship among our church family and guests who desire a deeper walk with the Lord. We encourage of our disciples to reach out to their community with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. We encourage our leaders to make the church family and guests feel welcome and important to the class by following the Lord’s example of practicing love and care.
