Steve and Shari Whitacre
(540) 533-5509. Steve and Shari were married at WGBC on Sept. 1, 1984 and are the parents of two fine men, Jake and Ethan. We have two beautiful daughters-in-law, Heidi (Jake), and Rebecca (Ethan), and two awesome granddaughters, Bre and Bristol. We have served in many different capacities over the years, and currently serve in the Deacon Ministry and wherever else needed. Steve works in the custom millwork industry and Shari is a special education paraprofessional at Redbud Run Elementary. Colossians 3:23
Roger and Cindy Tinsman
(540) 539-2183. Roger and Cindy met at the Jim Barnett Park. He played softball and she worked at the concession stand. In 1962 they married and had two children, a boy and a girl. The Lord took their daughter home in 2006 after a three-year battle with cancer. Roger and Cindy have 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and are awaiting the arrival of another great grandson in July! Roger loves to golf, bowl, sing in the choir, and help wherever needed at church. Cindy taught Sunday School for over 40 years. She enjoys singing in the choir, being on the decorating committee, reading and painting. They both are thankful to be a part of the Deacon’s Ministry where they can serve the Lord by serving others.
